This summer I traveled to New England and my adventure led me to Blue Shutters Beach in Rhode Island. The sky was clear and the water was peaceful. There weren’t a lot of waves but a fresh, cool breeze created movement in the water. I swam and played in the ocean. I wore my goggles and explored underneath the surface. There were beautiful white rocks laying all over the sand. As the sun went down, the sky took on a pink color and the reflections on the water were mesmerizing. After taking in the sun and a short nap, I went for a walk along the shore. As I looked out towards the horizon, the sky seemed to almost fade in with the water. Shortly, I arrived at a spot lined with rocks. I jumped from rock to rock observing my surroundings and underneath the surface of the ocean. I saw shells, fish, rocks, and algae. It is a whole new world under the sea waiting to be discovered and explored. |
